Amrita Rao's Profile | ||||||||||||||||
Amrita began her career with Raj Kanwar's Ab Ke Baras (2002). She was later seen in Rajkumar Santoshi's The Legend of Bhagat Singh but it was with Ken Ghosh's Ishq Vishk Pyaar Vyaar that she first tasted success. Modeled for nearly 35 ads Amrita Rao entered films accidentally. Her tryst with limelight came with an advertisement offer for a chocolate, where she played a married girl waiting to sight the moon to end her Karva Chauth fast. More modelling offers came pouring in and as is the natural progression soon she was a part of the Bollywood brigade. Farah Khan sighted her in a coffee ad and Shah Rukh Khan narrated Main Hoon Na to her even before she captured hearts in Ishq Vishq. For someone who portrays herself as a young romantic teenager with utmost ease and great conviction, Amrita has never had a boy friend in real life! Thus, Amrita's journey into filmdom and fame began. In Gaurang Doshi's Deewar- Let's Bring Our Heroes Home is completely male dominating film and she have little to do in it. It is based on an English Film. It's a prestigious project and she is their for it only. Her forthcoming films are the film which is titled "Pyare Mohan" and it stars Vivek Oberoi alongside and the director is the same as that of Masti Indra Kumar. Amriat Rao acted in 4 Films.
